B737 Radome plug building

Bert Groenewoud and Robert Otterspoor are taking a tooling splash from an existing Boeing 737 radome to have a tool for the Advanced Radome Repair course in which we can repair or build a radome in during the course.

Both Robert and Bert have much experience in radome repair of many different types of aircraft for Part 145 certified companies. They have both up-to-date theoretical knowledge and practical experience in this repair method of the aircraft part.

Radome and splash

In the image above you see the B737 radome and the splash in the background on the work bench, that is cured and post cured. An other splash of the top of the radome is in preparation that will be cured and post cured in the days to come.

KLM's first B787

KLM picks up its first B787 in Seattle. The EIS team (Entry into Service) visited Boeing OC and the manufacturing facility. Several issues were discovered that required amendment. Monday November 16 the team will move to Flightline where the aircraft will be prepared for its maiden flight. KLM's second B787, the PH-BHC, will therefore move up one place in position 3 where it awaits further testing. Below you see some photos of the BHA.

New EFC site is about to go live!

EFC is dissatisfied with its current provider and is in the process of starting a new site elsewhere. We are now in the final stages of building. Below you see a screendump of our new site.

Please check this blog regularly to see updates on the development of EFC's new spot on the web. The site includes a webshop where courses van be bought and booked. The navigation bar should give an idea what the new site will contain. It will consist of an English and Dutch department and possibly soon also a division in French. Thank you for your patience!
